Summer School in China

Applications are now open for the 2018 ACU Summer School, hosted by The Chinese University of Hong Kong on the theme of Designing and Creating Sustainable Communities.

Brunel University London students have access to bursaries and a discounted registration rate, and applications close on 14 January 2018.

Taking place from 1-9 July 2018, the Summer School will feature: expert lectures by local and international speakers, skills development, social events providing insights into Hong Kong’s fascinating culture, group work, networking opportunities, and field trips to key local sites.

africaasiaventure_0515Africa & Asia Venture‘s project offers exposure to and experience of both ‘first’ and developing world China.  Starting with a four-week home-stay and Mandarin course in the affluent city of Hangzhou you will then move to The Thousand Island Lakes area where you will be teaching English to impoverished children.

Intern in China: CRCC Asia Scholarship Program

studychina_summer11  The China Internship Program places students and graduates in an international or leading Chinese company in their chosen field in Beijing, Shanghai, Shenzhen and Sanya, China. The interns live in the centre of each city and carry out a work placement for one to three months, while gaining transferable skills and hands-on experience working in an international setting. They also get a full social program including cultural outings, weekly Chinese language classes, and professional business networking events. Upon completion of the program, students are able to boost their CVs with their internship experience, stand out from the crowd, and prepare for their career ahead, and a minimum of 30% of our interns are offered a full time job in their internship company on completion of their program each month.  Hear about interns’ real experiences while in Shanghai and Beijing.
