What’s it about?
Air pollution has gained significant attention over the last couple of years, increasing on both the political agenda and more widely among the public conscience. While it is apparent that tackling air pollution requires a holistic response from policy makers, businesses and individuals, increasingly there is a significant role for technology and innovation. Whether it is how we monitor, mitigate or adapt to pollution, plan our cities, travel or move goods around, innovative business models, technologies and ideas pay an ever important role in tackling air pollution. This conference will outline some of the key challenges related to air pollution and explore a number of innovative solutions.
This event will include a Q&A session, and the chance to discuss challenges and solutions with other delegates and the organisations. The day has been designed purposefully to offer you the greatest opportunity to contribute your ideas and network with influential and knowledgeable people.
Spread the Word is partnering with Penguin Random House UK to find, mentor and publish new writers from communities that are under-represented on the UK’s bookshelves. 150 writers will receive a free place at an insight day, with ten writers offered a place on the WriteNow year-long mentoring programme.
Apply to WriteNow by Friday 16 July 2017.

The job market is fiercely competitive and many perfectly credible candidates fail to secure the interviews they deserve simply because their CV is just not providing the information that recruiters and hiring managers are really looking for. The good news is that, if you have the right knowledge, skills and experience, just presenting that information more effectively on your CV can lead to a 50% increase in interviews.
So CIMA’s Grad Club are inviting you to attend our FREE webinar – with a Q&A session at the end – where you will learn how to effectively present yourself via your CV in order to really differentiate you from your competition:
- How to assess whether your current CV is good enough
- How to write an effective CV that will secure more interviews
- Some great tips on how to get experience if you believe you don’t have any – without getting a job!
Join the CIMA Grad Club. Be Inspired. Get Hired.
